EFFECTIVE: May 17, 2021

AcuSkill has changed Proctor Fees on the following exams:

  • ACT WorkKeys
  • Certiport
  • CLEP
  • DSST
  • ETS ParaPro
  • General/Remote Proctoring
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • Public Safety Testing
We have restructured the Proctor Fees starting at $25 for the first hour and then $10 per hour after that for the majority of the exams.
  • Proctor Fees may have increased or decreased based on the exam time (length of the exam).
  • There are no refunds or compensation for Proctoring Fees that have been decreased and have already been paid.
  • Likewise, there will be no additional charges for Proctoring Fees that have increased and have already been paid.

  • up to 1 hour - $25
  • 1 hour, 1 minute to 2 hours - $35
  • 2 hours, 1 minute to 3 hours - $45
  • 3 hours, 1 minute to 4 hours - $55
  • 4 hours, 1 minute to 5 hours - $65
  • 5 hours, 1 minute to 6 hours - $75
  • 6 hours, 1 minute to 7 hours - $85
  • 7 hours, 1 minute to 8 hours - $95
It is recommended that you schedule the timeframe that meets or exceeds your maximum allowable time for the exam. Any overages will result in additional fees to be paid before we release any results to you or your school.
  • This price covers the cost of proctoring one exam only.
  • The Proctoring fee is due when scheduling your exam.
  • Exam fees are non-refundable. When you schedule an exam, this locks out the availability for that seat where no one else may schedule for that seat and time frame.
  • You may re-schedule up to 48 hours before your exam time, but there will be no refunds issued if you cancel or do not show.



Most colleges require the student to fill out some kind of online Proctor Authorization form. Students can use the following information:

  • Most computer-based exams require only a username and password that is sent from the College Coordinator to AcuSkill via e-mail.
  • Candidates that are having their test materials (books, exhibits, etc.) delivered must ensure that their packages are not just delivered, but have been physically received by AcuSkill prior to the date of your exam. To verify, send an email to proctor@acuskill.com.
  • All mailing expenses (if applicable) are the student's responsibility and must be taken care of prior to the student arriving at AcuSkill.



  • Find out how much time your professor/instructor is authorizing for your exam. We charge a minimum of 1 hour for a Proctored Session
  • Select and pay for the date and amount of time your professor/instructor has authorized from the calendar below.
  • We do NOT accept cash, checks, or money orders for your Proctored session.
  • Payments must be done through the scheduling calendar below prior to arrival.



What to bring with you on assessment day


If you do not bring the correct identification, you will not be allowed to test.

You must bring both a Primary ID and a Supplemental ID.

    • You must bring a valid, non-expired, Goverment-issued ID that bears your photo, full name, and signature.
      • State or Province issued Driver's License
      • State or Province issued ID card

      • Tribal ID card
      • Permanent Resident card (Green Card)
  • Supplemental ID
    • You must bring a valid, non-expired, Supplemental ID.
      • Goverment-issued photo ID (in addition to the Primary ID).
        • State or Province issued Driver's License

  • The First and Last names on your ID must match the First and Last names that we receive from your professor or exam coordinator.
    • Small deviations, such as Dave instead of David are allowed.
  • It is the examinee's responsibility to review the ID requirements for the exam you are taking before making your appointment.



What NOT to bring with you on assessment day


AcuSkill and its test vendors/sponsors are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced personal items.

  • Do not bring anything with you aside from the required items needed to verify your identity.
    • Items bought to the test center for use during your exam must be on the notification we received from the instructor/company.
    • Medical related items are permitted if needed during your examination.
  • Do not bring backpacks or large purses, while we do have lockers, they will not hold large items.
  • Do not bring food or drinks.
    • They are not allowed in any of the testing rooms or the lockers.
    • We have a water cooler in the waiting room.

  • You will not be allowed to take any personal items with you into the testing room.
    • This includes, but is not limited to:
      • food or drinks
      • all bags, backpacks, or purses
      • notes or notecards
      • electronics of any type
      • recording devices of any type
      • cell/smart phones
      • pagers
      • watches
      • pens or pencils (we will provide them if authorized by the exam sponsor)
      • calculators (we will provide them if authorized by the exam sponsor)
      • jackets, coats or shawls
      • hats or hoodies (and other non-religious head coverings)
      • wallets
      • eye glass cases
      • sunglasses
      • jewelry
      • coins
      • keys
      • books or other materials not authorized by the exam sponsor
  • Items bought to the test center for use during your exam must be on the notification we received from the instructor/company.
  • Food and/or Drinks are not allowed in the Testing Rooms or our Lockers; you must return them to your vehicle.
  • You must store all personal items in our lockers, except for food and/or drinks, or return them to your vehicle.
    • If you refuse to store your personal items, you will be unable to test, and you will lose your exam and/or proctor fee(s).
  • All electronic devices must be turned off before storing them our lockers.



Arriving for Your Appointment


  • If you arrive at the test center more than 15 minutes, but less than 30 minutes after the start time of your scheduled exam,
    and your exam time will not extend beyond our business hours,
    • you may have to wait for an extended period of time before a seat opens up.
  • If you arrive at the test center 30 minutes or more after the start time of your scheduled exam
    • you will not be permitted to test,
    • you will be marked as a "No Show",
    • you will have to schedule a new exam attempt,
    • and you will lose your exam and/or proctor fee(s).
  • If you arrive at the test center after the start time of your scheduled exam,
    and your exam time will extend beyond our business hours,
    • you will not be permitted to test,
    • you will be marked as a "No Show",
    • you will have to schedule a new exam attempt,
    • and you will lose your exam and/or proctor fee(s).
  • If you fail to appear for your scheduled exam,
    • you will be marked as a "No Show",
    • you will have to schedule a new exam attempt,
    • you will lose you exam and/or proctor fee(s).


COVID-19

Reschedule your exam if you are sick.


  • We will check your temperature with an infrared thermometer on your forehead before you are allowed to enter.
    • If you have a temperature, we will NOT allow you to enter the test center and you will have to reschedule.
  • You must wear a mask while in the testing center.
    • If you have been vaccinated and it has been two weeks since the series was completed, you will not have to wear a mask per the CDC and the State of Colorado.
  • All test stations, mice, keyboards, pens, locker keys, clip boards, and reusable boards are sanitized after each use.
